Car covers Empty
PostSubject: Car covers   Car covers Icon_minitimeSat Oct 30, 2010 6:42 pm

Has anyone had experience with car covers? I've been seeing them used more and more around my neighborhood and I'm probably going to be purchasing one before the winter hits. Does the car have to be washed before putting on a cover? How long can the cover stay on the car without paint damage? I's it a good idea to put one on before a snowfall?

Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,

JP

We have four Mustangs, but I usually keep the 73 and the 04 White Mach 1 in the garage. I do use a car cover on one of the others if it's going to sit for a while. I would strongly recommend washing and drying the car first as the cover could rub against any dirt particles and leave fine scratches. I use it in snow too, as when the snow freezes and slides off it can scratch the paint too. This is the Blue 04 Mach 1 under the cover.
